Miranda Dixit started her own personal yoga journey in 2013 but knew right away she wanted to become certified to teach others; and pass along the emotional and physical wisdom yoga can bring to the lives of those who practice it. She fully believes that anyone, anywhere can practice and benefit from yoga. She completed her 200 hr YTT here in Portland, in 2015 and is certified with Yoga Alliance. Miranda teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga; with more of a focus on slow flow, focusing on proper alignment, safe moving, and believing it is important to really feel your body in each pose, and really work on syncing your movements with your breath. She also believes that the world is very fast paced and loves quieting and slowing down in her classes.
Then in 2018 she became certified to teach Prenatal and Postpartum yoga; after her and her husband had a child of their own. After having gone through pregnancy and Prenatal yoga classes; she is a true believer in the importance of the community Prenatal classes provide; and the knowledge on how to more safely move your body to help have a more pleasant pregnancy, labor, and postpartum experience.
