Leona has learned a lot from yoga, especially the magic of practice, patience and process. Even on days when everything hurts and nothing is fun, facing ourselves and coming to the mat to move and breathe is something good for us. Even if it sucks in the moment, we grow from the dedication to our future selves. Yoga teaches us tools to deal with ourselves (breathing, moving deliberately and with grace) and to help us get back in touch with ourselves when we are out of balance. She is eternally grateful to the thousands of years of study and dedication that have gone into forming this practice that has had such a big impact on her life
Leona was born and raised in Portland and has been on the strange path of practicing yoga since she was 12, got her 200 hr teacher training from Yogha Bhoga in 2015, has trauma informed training from Living Yoga and Kids Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Playground.
Leona’s classes are for all levels of students.
