Kristen teaches vinyasa classes that focuses on accessibility, developing a mindfulness practice, and encouraging students to move in a way that feels both appropriately challenging and nourishing. Yoga has been an important part of her life since she took her first yoga class in 7th grade. The non competitive, yet active and communal aspects of yoga were refreshing as a competitive soccer player. Kristen decided to pursue her 200 hour yoga teacher certification along side receiving her masters degree in social work at the University Of Maryland Baltimore. Kristen currently works as a school based mental health therapist serving families and children in the Portland area. Kristen sees yoga as more than anything, a self healing practice and is honored to share this practice with her clients and students.
