Claudia started practicing yoga in 1998 after the birth of her second child and after running a series of distance races. Yoga not only helped her prevent injury, but surprisingly alleviated the anxiety and work stress from her job as an educator in a high poverty school. Yoga became her therapy.
After having a steady practice for 23 years, she started her teacher training at the age of 57. Over the last few years, she found great joy in sharing yoga with others. She believes that what heals the individual, heals the world.
She’s taken classes throughout the Portland Metro area at various studios. She’s been blessed to have many compassionate and skilled teachers. The practice of yoga has seen her through so many life transitions. She’s grateful to have the opportunity to share the medicine of yoga with others.
