Essential Oils + Yoga

Join Emily Dalsfoist, yoga instructor, musician, essential oil lover and educator, for an evening of yoga and aromatherapy. We will begin with an introduction to essential oils, discuss what they are and simple ways to use these gifts of the earth as allies to our well being and yoga practice. The brief chat will be followed by a slow yoga flow incorporating some of Emily’s go-to essential oils and supported by the incredible Colin Hogan offering her loving hands on assists. Aroma, movement, a luxurious meditative savasana; all with the intent of inviting a deeper sense of connection to yourself and mother nature; leaving you more grounded, peaceful and empowered with ways to support your overall health on and off your mat.

Emily began teaching yoga in early 2010 and is fascinated with the human body and the unique beauty and experience of each individual that steps into her class. Since 2010, she has completed multiple continuing education courses, facilitated teacher trainings, guided music and yoga classes and led subtle body and essential oil workshops in and around the Portland area. Emily guides with a sense of playful curiosity, through a trauma informed lens and with an intention of supporting her students in their personal healing journey. In her yoga classes, she loves to weave together her love of nature and the wide variety of movement modalities she has studied and found potent in her own practice.
